ok maybe 3 or 4 from the sharks played 2 yrs, but the rest it was their 1st yr and yes our nephew juju was The Spartan and he was fast...

Spartan is a great team and yes they did beat the Sharks by one try and no other team was able to hold a close game like that against them yes the experience and speed was there for the Spartans, but i can't say the they matched up in size. The boys played an outstanding game and we to look forward to meeting up with the Spartans again. we enjoyed playing with u.. Good luck to both teams and God bless u all.. Go # 15 and #16 from spartans..love u guys..

I guess size is within the eyes of the beholder, but don't forget the spartans remain strong at the end, even with ONLY 6 players on the field at the last half - with HIS blessings, we too shall look forward to the Spartans and the Sharks battling it out once again on the Pitch! -- love u guys too!

Good game Spartans. Sharks u guys played an awesome game being your 1st year into the rugby league u played a tough team that has 3 years of experience and much bigger & u guys only lost by 1 try not bad for a first year team. Good Game Guys. God Bless.

Indeed it was a good game! and perhaps experience did favor the Spartans, but it does NOT guarantee a win. BOTH teams were well matched up in size, but in the end - strength, speed, and strategy which is the South Bay Spartan rugby style claimed this battle. The Spartans look forward to meeting the Sharks again, and we wish both teams a safe and successful 2009 Rugby Season!
