  • Utility companes all over the country, as well as some states, have banded together to kill these birds.

  • Glad you enjoyed it. This series is produced to give viewers a glimpse at these wonderful birds in the wild. I can't imagine people wanting to kill them.

  • I live in Illinois and just recently discovered we have a ton of Quakers Parrots. The first nest I seen was about 20 miles from my house, but I found about 15 more nests just 4 miles from my house! I wish I could get them to move a few miles down the road!! I love to watch them and to listen to them talking to each other. They do well in the winter here and that just totally amazes me!!

  • Those parrots are sure cute. I'm from Singapore and we have feral Rainbow Lorikeets, Goffin's Cockatoos, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and lots and lots of Moustached Parakeets here.

  • A gentle, non-flashy gift: not entertaining as such, but moving, and sensitively, respectfully done. Leaves one calm and happy , with a sense that despite the odds... we (including these wonderful quaker parrots) are gonna make it. Thank you, and I will watch the other segments of your safari.

  • i live in hudson florida and we have a few pairs of them around. i love quakers!!!!!!

  • I hope nobody wants to kill these birds! I enjoyed watching them in Florida recently, but my videos aren't as good as yours. You put a lot of work into it.

    Thanks!

  • Great video!! I love these birds!!
