If every early musical actress was like Lillian Roth, then the genre wouldn't get such a bad rap! Love her!

So I went and watched 'Ladies They Talk About ' again. It has been a few months so it's okay...like I said, it's entertaining!

" I'll cry tomorrow " is a nice biography about Miss Roth, made in '55 , dealing with her alcoholic problems and life, great movie, I suggest to all fans to watch it , and still just stops in the middle of her life, she died in 1980, she was born in 1910 .. at 6 she start as model for a living statue, started her carrier at 7 .. ended in the 1973.. get married 8 times .. died in 1980.
I'll cry tomorrow, watch at that movie, middle life biography

If I am not mistaken - this is a short film made for an early kind of `karaoke´. You´d found them on the street, where you could look and listen to it by inserting a coin. Thats the old fashion way of being up to date on music-hits in the 1920s and 30s.
I remember my Grannie spoke in highest tones about this times - even here in germany people loved to listen it!

I've permanently fell in love
