On June 10, 2010, Fmr. President George W. Bush posted an "Inaugural Address" on his Facebook page.

"Watching this, it seems like such a perfectly natural thing for a pol to do that I'm amazed more of them don't do it. Obama has his weekly YouTube address, of course, and the GOP has its weekly rebuttal, but you'd think up-and-comers — Palin especially — would have full-blown YouTube fee-vah given how much more intimate a video address feels than a Facebook post. A two-minute address from Bobby Jindal each week updating America on what's been done to protect the coastline from the spill and what's still needed would be a costless way to raise his profile and turn up the heat on the feds. I suspect GWB's started a trend here.

It's good to see him under such mellow circumstances, but I confess: The green screen's weirding me out a little." — Allahpundit

  • Gawd bless Amurka!!!

The man who left 500,000 dead in Iraq, the Middle East on the edge of war, and Palestinians being slaughtered day in and day out.

Yeah, you enjoy your retirement, George. We won't mourn you when you're dead.

Check out my videos and subscribe if you like what you see.

  • Good to see you again old friend. Glad to see you are happy and healthy, Take care and God Bless

  • Gosh - a man of action! He may not always be right, but at least he sticks to his principles and gives a damn about helping people. Unlike some Chicago thugs who run the country now.

  • your a new world order puppet that took huge part in causing 911, you cunt!!!!!!!!!

  • This is why I hate rick perry.

  • Don't get mad at BUSH. Get mad at the people who used him as a puppet. That's what a president is, a puppet. There are people telling him to do this type of shit.

  • I have never seen so many people who think bush is smart in my life! i guess you guys like war or something

  • the men finaly talked and said somthing great :) could you not do the same befor, you know when you where a president? now you talk very calm and full of wisdom.

    i dont get it

Heey.. ! Compfy settings, -that guy looks like a nice fellow.! :)

..Is the audio off to avoid ridicule from grammar-and-pronounciation eliteists?

..Sure, he´s been known to utter some seriously incoherent, awkward bla,

-but while limiting embarrassment, it does give them too much time to wonder how many of those bluescreen-books he may -or may not- have read..

    Pop-up´s indicate;

..At least THIS former "president" was´nt born in Kenya.

-some people just can´t see the true relevance!

  • I can't decide which is worse, your comments, or the video.

  • @taluvia The Devil also sticks to his principles, and I can say without embellishment that NO politician coming off the Beltway after 8 years gives two shits about helping anyone but themselves.

Politicians care about furthering their careers, image, and legacy, and could care less about the people. It should be quite obvious to anyone with half a brain given Bush's policies during his 8 year run at destroying America, now he's trying to whitewash it.

  • L..O..L..

His "Inaugural Address?" The guy's a joke, his legacy will stand as one of the worst presidencies in history, he did more damage to America and the world in two terms than any terrorist could have dreamed of, and to top it off, all the "initiatives" that his institute is promoting he and his cronies worked their butts off to torpedo during his presidency.

What he should be spending his time on is begging for forgiveness, from the American people and the international community.

  • Poor fella, he still can't talk. Thank God he was President instead of Gore, and he is a welcoming face after looking at Obamanation after two years. History will prove that he did what he had to do. He was one of those Presidents like Truman who were hated at the time but 50 years later were beloved by many.
