We are perfectly aware that there is a band located on the polar opposite side of the earth that has chosen the same name for their band as we have , the Australian Powderfinger has taken their name from a Neil Young song. We are actually a tribute to Neil Young. We are not engaged in original music and therefore, we are not worried that Powderfinger Australia is using the name Powderfinger and nor should they be concerned in our use of same.
