well its is said in Islam to strictly tell your wife not to do ill ( being Extra frank with other man- for example) because as a wife she is his honor... wife beating is a sin and a crime.its not necessary for a muslim man to beat his wife.an act from the wife might trigger arguments which leads to explosive taunts and gestures and in this scenario if even told to stay back an d by Mistake come in contact with each other.both say.he hit me..she hit me... he may be a wife beater? but wht she did!

You see what Quran and other religious boooks have done. These books are dividing humanity. On the name of religion you are deviding urself from rest of the world. You are being violent and you even dont see that? you are speaking of burning bhaghwat because you hate hindu. Can you see this hate and devision inside urself? No religious book can be holy, because all the books are invention of thought. Thought can never be holy/pious.
