Filmed at the Bitter End Club in Greenwich Village, New York in his early years - this was also a single record hit for Tom Rush. It was also included in his album "Take A Little Walk With Me". This is certainly a different view of Tom who is primarily famous for his 60's - 70's era folk songs. Recently Tom Rush has published two new CD's - "Trolling With Owls", truly a fun recording, and "What I Know", some great new songs. ' Go to his website, TomRush.com, for information on this fantastic artist as well to view locations of upcoming performances & visit his "store" to purchase some of his music.
"Who Do You Love" was first a Bo Diddley hit. There is also a great rendition by George "Bad To The Bone" Thorogood.
Great to see this old Tom Rush footage. The version of this that he cut for the LP "Take A Little Walk With Me", using an band, is a solid take on Bo Diddley's classic. Always dug it. Dug the whole LP.
