Two questions: is there a way to shoot in this mode for more than three seconds, and is there any way to control the framerate on the camera? I have the XR-550 but I've never tried playing around with slomo until just now.

I'm trying to look for a video camera if you can help me out. My price range is anywhere from $600-1000. I love making videos, i want extremely high quality 1080p like this to make it feel like your right there, and i do record at night time once in a while so i want a good camera that has good night recording, any suggestions, thank you.
