This is part 1 of a video of me reading my paper at the 2009 Academic Conference on Canadian Science Fiction & Fantasy in Toronto on June 6, 2009. The conference was held at the Merril Collection of Science Fiction, Speculation and Fantasy, which is an AMAZING library in Toronto on College St. My paper is entitled "The Word and the Flesh: Natural Law vs. Catholic Dogma in Rikki Ducornet's 'The Stain'."

Special thanks to Val for filming this (is your arm better yet?) as well as to Dr. Allan Weiss who accpeted my paper for the conference.

And, in case anyone's wondering, I WAS TERRIFIED!!! LOL! Oh, and sorry about the audio quality, the acoustics in the room were a bit strange, between that and the mic in my camera, I might sound like I have a lisp or something! I DON'T! REALLY!
