Why is it flooding like that so bad?
Did you have a storm drain backup or something, were your storm drains kept open or were they clogged with debris like leaves and sticks?
It seems like all the water in the community is funneling into your house. :-(
I'm not trying to be cruel but if that happens again you need to build a bigger wall and get an industrial pump and start pumping.

Open that gate at 7:09! that would ease the flooding into the garage. Go out with a shovel and do battle with the storm drains! they may be blocked. See if there is other obstructions! Don't just stand there!

You obviously dont get it
there are NO storm drains, there is no 'doing battle' with that much backed up water, fence or no fence.

Be careful or the department of ecology may call that river in front of your house "salmon spawning habitat" or a " wetland enviromentally sensitive area" and condemn and not reimburse you for the lost property.
