@JSchuster47 The internal battery in your game has run dry, so it won't let you save. This happened to most of my classic Gameboy games - all you have to do is replace the battery. You can buy the service on eBay for like, $3-5 a game and just send it off and have it replaced. Pretty simple!

how do i save the game? i got past this part years ago. Now the saved game is erased and whenever I save it now it doesn't work. I found this game yesterday and was like, 'ahh, good times.'
