Hot Water to Ice Cloud

This is a short video of hot water being tossed into -50F degree air outside of McIntosh Hall on the University of Alaska Fairbanks in early February 2008. This video could have been better but it's the best I have.

Wow, it must suck like hell to be outside in that weather. I HATE the cold. By the way, why are you wearing only a sweater outside in that weather? I would die in just a sweater if it was that cold.

You get used to the cold when you live in Fairbanks, Alaska...but I only went outside the building to do the honors and right back inside. It really wasn't all that bad...

The temperature was close to -50F when I did this. I think hotter water and a better angle could have improved the video... The same effect will happen at around -25F to -30F but not as nicely.
