To all the employee's at GoPro, do you guys use an external microphone for most of the audio recording and sync it up with the footage with an editing program? Or do you use simply use the mic thats on the GoPro? Please let me know!

@TheJeepWheeler It only works well if the GoPro is mounted somewhere within the cabin of the car and you gotta have a high power engine and loud exhaust like this corvette to capture it just right. I use a Zoom H1 to capture audio now. It takes a bit of trial and error to get the right input level for certain situations but it works very well.
