  • Why is it horrible? The Mass had already ended so there's nothing wrong with having the Anthems sung there.

  • Saint Patrick is a Roman Catholic. So no ecumenical services!!

  • @cnmmnc8852 If you can't sing, shut your mouth

  • great to see how agile and vital the catholic church in the usa is. the joy and happiness the archbisohp is sending out is fantastic! thank you! that is how the catholic church has to be like. new york is a great example for some other parishes, not only in the usa..

  • Whoever is singing, geeze, try to sing in the same key... or keep your mouth shut and stop the aural massacre into an open microphone to record this for the future...The Lord gave you a mind, use it.

  • @steelersfanhawaii Which I believe they did do, when Pope Benedict was in NY!

  • only thing better would be to include the Charles Gounod March (the anthem of the Vatican City)

  • i've been there :] one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the USA

  • Awesome video thank you. I give you five stars. I m from Paris France, I love and often come in NY and in the United States of America. St Patrick's cathedral is great

  • Thanks! Well done. We sing the National Anthem after Evensong as well.

  • That is some powerful organ playing. Outstanding.

  • God & Country go hand-in-hand. It's because of our free countries that God can be worshipped without persecution, and it's because of God's grace that we have free countries...it seems natural to me to honor our countries and God at the same time. The presbyterian church i grew up in did not allow patriotic songs either...i still don't see why.
