Microsoft Ads

My opinion of the new Microsoft ads.. WTF?! Lets look at the standard specs of this computer chosen and the base model 15" MacBook Pro.

15" MacBook Pro:
2.4GHz core duo CPU
15" screen
250GB 5400 RPM hard drive
2GB DDR3 RAM
5.5lbs

HP:
2.0GHz CPU
16"
250GB 5400 RPM hard drive
3GB DDR2 (not DDR3) RAM
7.37lbs

From Mac the extra 2GB of RAM in the MacBook Pro is only $100.. so you can obviously get it elsewhere for $50 or less. And that's 4GB of DDR3.. THREE RAM. Not Slow, old DDR2. Oh.. i guess Microsoft left that part out, huh? All they mention is that the Mac has 2GB compared to 3GB in the HP. Sorry, but I'd take 2GB of DDR3 over 3GB of DDR2 RAM any day. =)

If I drove a Cadillac, I wouldn't Give a RATS ASS what other people on the road drive. I'm happy as long as I am comfortable with what I drive, and it gets me to where I'm trying to go, and nobody else gets in my F*&^ing way...

Same with hardware, these PC Apple Fanboy wars are lamo, they just make ppl look dumb. Just get something you're comfy with using, and make sure you're happy with it. Don't let anyone make you think twice about your productive workflow.But keep seekng your self Improvmnt.

Mac I dislike . I rather Choose Windows over Mac but it is true that 2GB DDR3 on Mac is better than HP 3GB DDR3.

Ya but film makers don't just use Mac ... Your video is pointless. I do 3D art, and films on a Windows / HP / PC ... You ever hear of the Adobe CS4 Collection used in the making of Avatar... Ya and I know for a fact that Pixar uses DELL and Mac computers both... and they use Linux for high end rendering in Maya3D , and RenderMan << made for Linux... I can show you the pixar behind the scenes video's... Ya they use all three.
