ITV's Get Ready campaign of the late 80s. I wonder if they knew then what a wrecking ball the network would be dealt in the 90s. ITV is just a very faint shadow of its former self

  • i hope itv dies and we get real regional stations again

  • I Miss Grampian And Scottish It's so Sad when they have regions In Scotland.

  • I think "Get ready" was addressed to TV stations to remind the upcoming franchise battle

  • Not sure on that one but definately big enough from a regional news point of view. Whether any quality programmes would have come from any Lincoln Studios, thats a different matter!!

  • Lincolnshire could of had their own franchise where YTV and Anglia could of had diffrent programmes but from both regions.

  • BRING BACK REGIONAL ITV IDENTT But of course we never go back to all tha can we ITV used have great shows Sunday Night at the London paladiam the saint The Avengers, The Professinals, denspy & makepease I cud go on

  • oNLY IF YOUR'E FROM YORKSHIRE!! LINCOLNSHIRE PEOPLE WERE TREATED LIKE SHIT! WE WERE BETTER SERVED BY ANGLIA TV, WHO WE'VE GOT MORE IN COMMON WITH.

  • I'm personally pleased that Itv has now become inpersonal, Cos it was a load of shite, with shite presenters, amateiurish presentation and fuck all mention of Lincolnshire or North Norfolk, which Yorkshire TV was mention to covere. At least ATV had a continuity announcer.

  • Technically, we haven't lost Granada here in Granadaland because Granada bought everybody else. Officially it was a merger between Granada and Carlton, but it was only a merger in the same sense BSkyB was a merger, the big fish ate the little one.

  • is it me or does this sound like the gmtv 1993 theme
