AU 4 years ago Haley James Scott was killed in a hit and run, with Nathan never finding the killer of his wife until now.
Years later Dean is haunted by a spirit who will not leave him alone,everyday he is reminded of what he did to her.
Stricken with guilt Dean informs Sam,causing a drift between the two brothers and Dean ending his own life.
