@ASteveVaiFan Kubina & Stapleton trade. It was a bad trade but the reason why they were traded was because of the contract - Kubina was making 5 million that time

@ASteveVaiFan Ugh Exelby, I'm glad we have Orr now instead of him. Alright I won't make fun of Kaberle, he is very cool with the puck, very smart. Giguere said he'd waive which makes me wonder why he's really here in the first place. He's supposed to be a mentor for Gustavsson but they're playing Giguere like HE'S the goalie of the future.

@WoohooSpiderman Pavel Kubina and Tim Stapleton for Colin Stuart and Exelby - awful trade...Don't make fun of Kaberle, he's all we have left from like 3 years ago! And he's cool with the puck, which Schenn has picked up from him, so he's at least helping in that way if you don't see it on the ice.

@ASteveVaiFan Mitchell's been so under the radar I forgot about him completely haha. I see potential in D'Amigo and Reimer which is nice. I can't remember, was Kubina traded for a current Leaf or draft picks?

@fighterest Schenn is actually a very responsible and consistent defenceman. Either this is true or I'm blinded by the fact that Komisarek, Bullshitman, Lebda, and sadly even Phaneuf have played awful this year, so in that sense he'd seem good by example. He doesn't fuck up, and you don't NEED a bomb of a shot - I see Phaneuf try them and they ALWAYS miss the net, come around the boards, and start a rush for the opponent. That's when you appreciate Ian White's little on-net wristers.

@WoohooSpiderman Kaberle has been doing well this year, quietly getting very many assists. Phaneuf, Komisarek, Mitchell, Lebda, and Bullshitman have really been underachieving. Still think the Leafs should have kept Kubina - they're paying high price for defencemen anyway, might as well keep one with intensity
