I remember September 2007... I couldn't believe they had torn down the wand! I tried asking cast members what was going on, even a bathroom janitor! I remember hearing that they were just taking down the wand, but I later found out about this thing called "Project Tomorrow", which kinda freaked me out at first because of all the machines and future tech. I was amazed the first time on the new ride after a 20 min wait, and I have since adjusted to machines, technology, future, and space.

That light has always been there. It is a projector shining onto the wall inside the ride.
