- The New York post reported that Fabolous had to resort to stacks of cash after 5 of his credit cards were declined in a restaurant in Atlanta.

- Monicas Husband rapper Rocko has been sentenced to 48hrs in jail & community service after pleading no contest to assaulting a woman in an atlanta nightclub in 2007.

- Koch Records has changed its name to E1 Music, bringing all of its global subsidaries under the same name.

- Kelly Rowland has amicably parted from manager Mathew Knowles' Music World Entertainment.

- Lil Wayne is planning to release a rock only album titled 'Rebirth' by April.

- Amongst all the hype & drama that usually plaques hip hop, this week there was a brief moment of class, Newcomer Charles Hamilton and battle vet Serius Jones got into a lil freestyle battle at SOB's in New York City. Who won isnt as important as how it went down, no beef, great lyricisim and fun!
