I attended a student party in Sheffield in 1986 where Don Valley and the Rotherhides were playing. F***ing awesome set! I bought a copy of the EP, but have since lost it (actually, it was thrown away by my mom).
I've been waiting to sing this song in earnest for decades.

I was really pleasantly surprised to see this up here. My memory was jogged by something. (A I hate tories page on facebook) and I remembered way back to sunny Sheffield when I was a Lad must have been 25 years ago. Great to see you up here Lads!!! Hope it won't be too lo9ng before we're singing this song for real!!!

Happy days! Hard to believe it's nearly 20 years since their last gig.
I know Tom (Red Mires) was keen for a reunion at one time, but circumstances got in the way.
I've still got the LP and EP somewhere, must dig them out and give them a whirl.

OMG!!! I remember playing drums for them at on of their gigs in Fulwood!!! Red Mired was such a dude. Wish I still had the ep and jeans that the guys all signed on their last gig at the Hallamshire!
