This resort, which was renovated in 2007, is a tropical oasis surrounded by tropical palms, and has over 60 m of private beach in its ownership. It offers 189 rooms spread across 11 floors. It is the perfect place to relax in the sun, enjoy the heated pool and the beautiful blue Atlantic Ocean. The building is one of Fort Lauderdale's historical buildings, which has character that guests will not find anywhere else. With careful attention to detail, the resort has been restored to its original beauty. Free self parking is available.

Rooms:
Rooms vary from 1-bedroom to 2-bedroom suites. Each room has been completely remodelled with hardwood floors or ceramic tiles. In addition, they all have new furniture and pillow top mattresses. Guests may have a spectacular view of the ocean or the twinkling skyline of the city of Fort Lauderdale. All of the 1-bedrooms are equipped with small fridges and microwaves. The studios are larger and equipped with full kitchens.

The front desk can pre-arrange pick-up by car or van for groups from Fort Lauderdale and Miami airports, Port Everglades and the Port of Miami. Car rentals and transportation to any entertainment or shopping area, t-times for golfers and other excursions can also be arranged. How to get there:
From Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, take I-595 W to I-95 N. From I-95, exit onto Oakland Park Blvd E. Continue east to A1A. Turn left onto A1A and then right onto 41st Street. Veer right onto Galt Ocean Drive. The hotel is on the left.

I was just at this resort on january 5th 2012, the fucking place is a dive...theres was ants everywhere...random furnitures looks like they have been picked up on the side of roads...elevator broke down, no phones...above everything the customer service is by far the worst...they gave us keys to another couples room LOL yes I walked in on them.
