tennant gets so much attention and adoration you would think it would probably go to his head and he would be a cocky arrogant person, but without exception every time he does a interview he is genuinely lovely .

@huntsman35 Haha well exactly, that's why I said they wouldn't get along right away. They'd be stuck together for some reason though, perhaps traders or the Alliance have stolen the tardis, and the Alliance are after the Doctor, so he has to lay low with people experienced with dodging them. Eventually the Doctor would see Mal is a good man, and maybe Mal would try it his way for once.

That's how you mix the universes together, the Doctor's travelling around the universe, is walking through a market on some distant planet, and gets mistaken for Mal by a bounty hunter with a vague description of who he is looking for (brown coat, brown sticky-uppy hair). The real Mal comes to the rescue, and the rest is history. They wouldn't get on straight away, but I can imagine them reminiscing about being soldiers when everyone else is asleep aboard Serenity.

Does anyone else think Jenny (since she's off adventuring) could go on board Serenity and travel with them? I would love to see her and Kaylee or her and Wash *cries* interacting.
