@nated64 the only reason why this is so difficult is because the war is between a minority race (tamils) vs. a whole government (singalese majority) . and the main problem is that the second you go AGAINST a government, you automatically get listed as a terrorist . i also understand that it would have been more efficient to go through peace talks , however when your own government is running full on massacres on your race, peace talks would be highly insufficient, no ?

It's true there is no I in team , which is why the tamil diaspora's collectively around the world started protesting for the awareness of the genocide occurring in sri lanka. it just gained a bit more media attention in canada, only because it has the largest amount of displaced tamils around the world.

@TT920906 cont'd the u.n are the ones who condemn crimes against humanity and they are no good unless someone lights a fire under they're ass, well the protesters are the flame, if you cant protest write a petition but other than that those people shouldnt soley aim at the canadian government, they should be protesting every member state of the u.n. of nato or somthing of military/peacekeeping importance, just like the old saying theres no I in team, if you truly want global awareness go global.
