no not oil lol dirt accumulation in exhaust, although there may be oil mixed in it. yes these engines do burn alot of oil, especially the higher mileage ones, hence why the lamda sensors often have issues. The oil goes down the exhaust and as the lamda is on the outer corner of the exhaust bend, the oil hits it and messes it up. A malfunctioning lambda sensor is someimes the reason for flat spots in the power range or an overall decrease in power.
