  • @flower26dance I so agree with you! I saw them dance this in london so many years ago-I thought then,that I could never watch another pair do the piece.

    I recently flew to London to watch a triple-bill at Covent Garden that happened to have this as the 2nd ballet - and it was a very sad time for me because the pair who danced, good in their own right, had not the 'chemistry ' - the magic that made this Ashton piece so special , was brought by the unique partnership of Margot and Rudi.

  • I totally agree with you! No other pairs that I have seen dance with so much believable love and passion between them. Margot and Rudolph dance as real lovers and not a staged one, complete with tender interactions.
