The Thule 594 Sidearm allows for quick rooftop loading while accommodating most bikes regardless of frame design, suspension, or wheel size. The Thule 594 Sidearm mounts to both Thule and Yakima load bars. Requires two lock cores, sold separately.

  • Rackattack rules!! super fast shipping.

  • The downsides though.. apparently when locked you can get the bike out by deflating the front tire. Also, I have heard several stories of the bike coming out of these mounts.

  • looks like the racheting arm runs into the v-brakes or even the forks that are disk set up.

  • Could be done, but might be difficult. Instead take a look at the line of Thule Hitch Mount Bike Racks which are designed to attached directly to a hitch receiver. Check out the Thule T2, which mounts to both 2 inch and 1 1/4 inch receivers.

  • looks great, i need that mounted on a reciever hitch to easily move it between 3 vehicles, is that hard to do? thanks

  • The Thule 594 SideArm is probably one of the easiest racks to load and unload.
