I will gladly say that i also have had the priveledge of being an uke for shihan annesi during a seminar here in Walterboro, SC. And its so weird, in an awesome way, how subtle, the off balancing he does is. I went to strike at him as fast and hard as I could and was easily put off balance with minimal effort on his part. I am actually a student of Soke Darrell Collins

Annesi Shihan is not an Aikidoka. He studies Takeshin Aiki Jujitsu, or as he puts it, Takeshin sogo Budo. Any Aiki system is going to be similar to Aikido because of the Aiki involved. The closest Aiki-jujitsu style to Aikido is Daito-ryu Aiki-jujitsu as it is the direct ancestor to Aikido.
