NES Golgo-13 Top Secret Episode Swimming Glitch

By pressing Left + Right at the same time, Duke can swim through rocks, swim in mid-air, and even perform vertical wrapping where he goes off the top of the screen and reappears at the bottom.

This technique can be used to avoid underwater enemies and landmines.

Most importantly, it can be used to skip the underwater "ambush" scenes where Duke has to fight divers in panorama zoom mode!! This can save a lot of time and effort.

Will this work on an NES or just an emulator?

The glitch itself is just a left+right glitch. In theory, it could work on a console, but it is MUCH easier to do on an emulator, since the NES control pad is designed so you can't press up+down or left+right at the same time.
