Hi All!
Went out expecting the corps of drums today but instead got the bagpipes! Here we see them playing some lovely tunes! Enjoy the video! BEWARE: Next saturday- IRISH GUARDS OPEN DAY!!! i will be in the barracks videoing if anyone on youtube wants to say hello.I will film the old guard come into the barracks!

  • @Deathbringer99699 this clip is of a detachment of guards from 1st battalion Irish Guards, mostly from Northern Ireland although their are also guardsmen from the Republic of Ireland and Irish areas of England in it. They are marching from barracks to replace the guard at the castle(which is no a guards regiment). The pipers are wearing a caubeen a tradtional Irish bonnet and saffron kilts,which were once common in both Scotland and Ireland but are asociated as Irish now
