  • You guy are nutts, a Cleveland is a Cleveland a Windsor is a Windsor a Aussie 302 is a Cleveland design, very distinct differences

The Cleveland heads will fit on a Windsor, it's called a Clevor whether it be the Aussie heads or the US heads. The 400 is a cleveland design and the 351M is just a de-stroked 400...

    Do your homework...

  • @72Chero sorry but you are wrong, instead of a huge explanation I will just tell you to get the SA Design book "High Performance Ford Parts Interchange 221-460CID" ISBN# 1-884089-33-X it will tell you everything you could ever want to know.. It's my bible lol

  • @jaratt85

What is it that you "think" is wrong?

  • @72Chero eh nevermind I cant write it all out here I end up going like 350 over te character limit, thats why I said just read the book. I dont disagree that M motors are cleveland designs with a taller deck height tho.. ford actually designated them as Ms for "Modified Cleveland" tho unfortuantely you have to use big block trannys for them and 351C accessories wont work on them.. 351C heads wont work on 351W or 302s tho.. clevor head from aus are allum for Cs with close chamber and small port

  • @jaratt85 I didn't think you could point out anything other than uninformed commits, Do your home work...

  • 6 bolt valve cover 302, 8 bolt 351C...

Yep, its so wrong it defies the laws of conservation!!! In all seriousness, whomever wrote that book didn't know a thing about Ford engines and the "Clevor" conversion simply requires drilling a hole into the forward part of the head in order to match the coolant hole in the intake so that it will run through the head, having done this conversion on 3 motors it really is just that easy.

  • @torkair72torino 990%?? really?

  • @jaratt85

The book you're listing is full of garbage, I read it and 990% of the info in it is WRONG!!! 72Chero is actually pretty hard core when it comes to the Cleveland motors, don't ever second guess him!!!

  • @72Chero I did.. read the book... or check out the link I will be sending you in a message.. you cant put cleveland heads on a windsor block without changing the water passages..

  • that's right but the water passages will have to be modified for windsor use also special intake manifold is needed for that application. Boss 302 is cleveland look alike.

  • You are spot on abou the Cleveland + WIndsor = Clevor setup.

Outwardly the Aussie Cleveland is exactly the same as a 351c. Same Block (Mine's a square Block CF foundry). If it's 2v, has the same heads outwardly, if you have a 4v (only 351c) you can tell by a 4 stamped on the corner of the heads. You can stroke and bore the Aussie 302c to at least 393 cubes. My mates Mustang has a Cleveland 351c out to 393c. I could do the same.

Your video is quite old... how's the car/engine going now?
