@VonLeachim Thanks for the tip. Cabbage Fry is definitelly a quick and easy meal. Have never tried it with coconut oil though..will have to give it a try one of these days!
@deep2006 Great question deep. When commercially ground garam masala is used in dishes, it is often added at the end of cooking so that the aroma of spices is not lost. We've heard it referred to as a "pepping up" spice. Sometimes, it might may even be added to a dish after serving. Spices used in garam masala are already toasted so we need not add ground garam masala in the beginning. It usually adds a kick to foods, and is also believed to create a sense of happiness and well being.

one of my favourite meals, quick & nutritious , eat it almost daily :)
like it with coconut oil [can't do dairy]
oh btw, I find putting the peas in nr the end keeps them fresher tasting

How come you always add the garam masala at the end and not at the beginning with the rest of the spices?
