No, the universe is a testament unto itself!

The reason Xians deny Evolution is bxuz it disproves the Adam & Eve story, which was a product of man, just as the Abrahamic religion was.

It's unfortunate that u feel the need to believe in something u cannot demonstrate, even though god supposedly walked and talked with man.

At least you understand that Evolution is factual, although it doesn't indicate a god used Evolution to hide his existence. So is god devious? Does he feel he must deceive man?

@Cootabux Evolution only 'disproves' the Adam and Eve story if you take Genesis in a strictly literalistic sense, which I do not.  There is no intellectual or religious obligation to do so. And the existence of God must be left open to doubt if human beings are to remain free agents, as I explain in the second half of this video.

God had to hide the fact that he made us and then he would drop in and tell us we were his children? Then send himself/his son to explain it to some folks before he/jesus was killed/not killed ? It sounds as tho u r generally taking a Deist position, & I have always said that I have no problem with that as I can see it as a possibility, if we had evidence for it, & we don't, do date.

It's the Abrahamic god claim which I have studied & have a strong evidence based belief that they are all man made. Yahweh is a perfect example. But as far as a universal creative force...it's possible, & there's no reason why it can't be a purely natural force. So far, that's what we find.

As far as what you've said so far here, I don't really disagree. As far as your video title goes tho, it's just an opinion. Many people don't actually know what atheism means. As an atheist, my personal definition means that I (we) don't accept the theist god claims, as they cannot substantiate those claims in the least! We see no evidence or reason to believe in superstitious claims of any deities.

Very interesting. How is it that you are aware of what God plans? If you get this information from the Bible, how do you jibe that with the fact that there have been those who have used the bible to justify murder, rape and torture? How is your belief any more logical than the Inuit who believe that Raven skewered the earth in place as it rose from the waters? Which is correct? No, religion has little to offer me that science does not answer with more eloquence and inspiration.
