Keeping warm in the mountains might take a wood burning stove, and then the wood to feed it. A wood splitter does wonders on a driveway full of wood. Take a look and see.

  • Oh yeah...after the chimney fire last year, you know I'm gonna clean it out...also need to make some modifications. I might have enough for next year now but not sure so need to get the rest out of the driveway, then bring in some more. Not as big a rush to cut it, as I'll put it on the front lawn out of the way this time.

  • Richard, I'm impressed with all that wood--and with your comfortable "stage presence." Those log splitters go through the wood like a knife through soft butter. We have a hydraulic one (requires pumping), but more often than not, Jan prefers to split the wood with his maul. Now, will that be enough wood to get you through the coming winter? Are you getting your chimney cleaned out occasionally? Love, Big Sister
