Tornado in Cumming / Gainesville Georgia 3/15/08

Warning: Some profanity. At 1:52 things really get exciting! On 3/15/08, several mezzocyclonic signatures were spotted in north georgia. Winds reached 65+ MPH and blew over several trees and some roofs/cars. All footage was shot within the span of 10 minutes with the eye passing over at 1:26. Sorry about the profanity. Most was edited out but he adrenaline was pumping and I turned off my filter. Actual tornado funnel was not captured on tape but you can hear trees falling as I rush down the stairs at 2:04. Yes, the cat made it out o.k. :)

holy crap thank god it wasnt a direct hit on your house you got lucky im from melbourne australia so tornados are rare here.

i bet the adrenalin was pumping hardcore nice footage btw you have my vote if they ever need a tornado commentator nice vid.

That was an extremely crazy weekend. I live up in Lumpkin County, and I barely missed getting what you got.

I was in Madison county that day in a little house with about 15 people. It was insane. It got pretty bad there, too.

I remember this day, I live in Kennesaw now but was born in Gainesville and lived off of Price Rd. and was also there for the 3/20/1998 tornado when it tore through Hall and White county thanks to that storm I cant ever sleep in severe nighttime weather...
