Ceramic work in Vietnam

I originally had a different song until 1/13/2012: This song is by M83 it's called: lower your eyelids to die with the sun. This song was marked as copyrighted by EMC so I added a new song using youtube's song library. Hope it fits well for you!

I believe I was in the Bắc Ninh province when I shot this.

This is my first time using windows moviemaker, and I used a borrowed camera to take these clips. I apologize in advanced for the wobbly blair witch action. Let me know what I can do to bump up the quality on the editing work for the future!

You asked for editing tips, I have some for shooting too.

1> Zoom while recording usually looks bad. Use it to frame what you want, press record, stop, frame next shot and start recording again.

2> Sometimes difficult, but try to get a stable hold of the camera (tripod is best but a wall, bag or steady hand can do) for a better quality shot.

3> For this I'd have shot each worker for 1 or 2 mins and edited the best bits together in order of "process".

Fascinating video, although it could have been longer; they were enjoying their art. It is a sweatshop supplying western countries with cheap pottery. The Vietnamese, a peaceful hard working people with great creativity. To think that psychopaths from a certain country bombed the hell out of them 50 years ago - for what?
