@tony9L9L No, I have very much knowledge about theology, enough to have faith without having it based on empty and circular arguments. But I don't want to debate, instead I want to have a dialogue with you. I do not want to blame you for anything, I just want to share with you how much I love Jesus and what he has done in my life.

@joelieherp If there is evidence of God then why do we need faith? God is not working through you not just because he doesnt exist but because you are not very bright and he wouldn't send someone so ill equipped to debate theology with me. You will only make things worse but you are enthused with religious zeal like a suicide bomber so you will continue because you don't value sense over emotion. You ignore what I say because you have no answers. Repetitive bleating only works on sheep.

@tony9L9L There is a lot of evidence for God, Google: God and science. Richard Dawkins is completely debunked. Please bro, Jesus is your Lord and there is so much to see when you open up your eyes! God works all the time in your life, The spirit is working through me now. God is asking you to come back! Dont forget that our Lord is a Gentleman, he will never ever force you to draw near to him. Instead he is asking you softly and with patience. Living a life of sin will make you empty. Come back!

@joelieherp Every faith/religion has cleverly worded faux insrtuctions like you quoted that attempt to tie and bind people. The example you used is a classic catch 22 which amounts to a demand for obedient service to the church with a wishy-washy threat/punishment scheduled to happen after death (hence unprovable).
What you fail to acknowledge and cant answer is why after 39 years of believing and seeing no evidence of god in my life should I conclude that the notion of god is more than a notion

@snowboarder4754 Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?"
And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness."

@tony9L9L In Matthew 24:13, Jesus says that “he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” That suggests that those who don't stand firm to the end won't be saved.
You know, I have a workshop on 21 of Januari, It's about healing in the name of Jesus. There are a lot of people still able to heal and do miracles in the name of Jesus. Please bro, come back! We all love you!

@joelieherp I did, for 39 years, you are blind, you are deluded, you are in bondage to ancient hypnotic beliefs. I was a christian for 39 years- nothing happened, now i am free and still nothing happens but at least I am free.

how true. I'm beginning to see this in myself
Because 1# what Piper is talking about here is NOT a "religion". He's talking about a relationship with the one and only God of this universe.
So the difference?
While "Change" happens in the lives of religious people its all mere behavior modification on the surface.
Where as with Christ he makes you a new creature completely from the heart out. And the evidence is crystal clear as daylight in the lives of true genuine believers. its awesome, its beautiful. And Christ wants and loves you to.
