TJ Yates has kept the momentum going as the Texans have capped off seven straight wins. On Sunday they clinched their division with a 20-19 win at Cincinnati and a Titans loss. How come Yates does not get a fair shake?

  • I think that T.J. Yates played better than Tim Tebow did yesterday. Yes, the Texans do deserve a lot of credit. It seems like ESPN forgot about them this morning on their Tebow coverage.

  • @ebsmith29 He ABSOLUTELY did.

  • About time the Texans get credit somewhere cause they got no love on 1st Take despite them winning their first division title ever all it was, was a the Tebow show damn does he make me sick!

  • @bunda713 what did they say?

    -Rick

  • @tytsports Well that's the thing they didn't say anything they never mentioned it or acknowledged it all it is, is the Tim Tebow show

  • @bunda713 which is the better storyline? I can't say I blame ESPN for mentioning Tim Tebow, he is the sexier and more juicy headline. However, I just wanted to bring attention to TJ Yates. He's playing extremely well and consistent and has won 3 straight; something that seems to be VERY overlooked.

  • Yes, Tebow is Tebow, and ESPN is ESPN. I was trying to add some information to all of the Tebow talk.

  • @bunda713 Texans go unrespected and will be for a long time...At the beginning of the year when the Texans demolished the Colts, any time they did something good the national sportscaster would say "Good play by the Texans there" And when Reggie Wayne caught the ONLY Colts touchdown pass he freaked out and was so excited, ranting about how great it was...I'm used to it...let the show be about Tebow and the Texans will run their business as usual :)

  • @ebsmith29 But...but...Tim Tebow is Tim Tebow, don't you know anything about ESPN? Tim Tebow won a game and is therefore the greatest AND worst quarterback ever because he wins but doesn't play for 4 quarters...I mean...he's Tim Tebow for crying outloud...of course he deserves more credit than the Texans who have a better record than the Broncos and the number one D in the league and have made the playoffs for the first time ever. Tebow is better because he won a game from behind DUH!

  • @tytsports Thats fine to have some of the show be about Tim Tebow but 3/4 of the show be about him is ridiculous and that was just Monday not to mention Tuesday and today started out with Tim Tebow im not sure if Skip Bayless has that much influence on the topics of the show but to not at least give one segment to the Texans in the past 3 days when this is the 1st time in the teams history that they made the playoffs just baffles me.

  • I think Yates will be the next Tom Brady, not the same skill level or legacy, just the fact that hes a late round pick filling in for a solid starter and playing at a very high level for a 5th round rookie..

  • Didnt Tyler Palko graduate in 07? Not sure if he is a rookie

  • Love to heard Texans talks here, but Yates did have T.O.

  • Lol this pusy needs to get off the air
