@14LondonLucy Becaus the guy who responded to you was not contradicting himself, becaus he didnt say 'MOST young people', he just said 'MOST people', and its impossible to steriotype everyone, that kind of defeats the point.

@element1108 There are many different reason why kids join the insurrection. Darcus, with his vast experiences, is only focusing on one of them, for now.
Because the kids can't articulate why they riot, does not mean their actions are not political - they are a product of the system. If they had better lives, would they be so destructive? They respond emotionally to THEIR experience.
Originally the BP's were a self-help organisation who defended themselves. We were later demonised as "racist"

@QAAproducts I agree on the criminal element in the riots. Personally (and what do I know) wouldn't allocate "race issue" into this riot. I was commenting on the individual in the video and how I don't personally see him as a racist. He can't help identify these actions (ignorant as it may seem) to the race fueled movements of the 60's70's. I do believe it is somewhat of a class system divide as you say, but each individual causing the chaos has their own agenda. Mostly because it's "fun"

@element1108 Speaking as an original BP, there IS a large criminal element in these riots. Reasons are twofold: the kids are being screwed, but do not know who is doing it, so they lash out blindly. The gov' doesn't want them wised up and politicized, cos' they are easier to demonize and control as mere looters.
2ndly, We do not have free speech any more. Thus anyone who attempts to educate, lead or direct them will be jointly charged with any inadvertent crime they might subsequently commit.
