I can remember this closing fairly well but the decades distort memories. I remember the helicopter being on skids not floats and being in the centre of the picture.

I looked Skippy here in Finland allways when it came...really nice serie after these past years...

Never missed an episode when Skippy was shown here in America in reruns in the early millenium. Programmed the video player for daily episodes & fortunately have finally managed to convert all of the episodes to DVD.
Shame the series hasn't been released to DVD here as it had been Down Under.
A definitive wholesome family classic

Yeah That was first filmed in the year I was born in 67 and while my father was in Nam war in the RAN.
