Departing EGLL (London Heathrow) VATSIM

Just another quiet night at Heathrow.

The Real world aircraft for the SHT8F would be a Boeing 757, but I wanted to take the PSS777 for a test drive.

Clearance in the first instance was from ground.

In this example London 119.775 is controlling down, and covering the tower/director duties . Excellent multi tasking from the controllers, ground as well.

Some of the way points in the WOBURN2F departure were wrong in the FMC so the controller prompted me back on track.

Unfortunately, FS9 locked up during the flight so I can't show you the whole journey.

Hi, I have a question. What am i ment to do when the Air Traffic Control says 'Squawk Ident'?

 I have trouble knowing what i am ment to do.

@TheCRChannel There is a Ident button on the radio panel, or in squawk box a Ident button. Just press it when ATC tell you to. It makes you flash on the radar to help you get identified.

@neil209 FYI, it's not bandboxing, its the concept of top down control. If there is no lower service then you take over their provision. It's pretty common :) Bandboxing would be when say S10 of LACC picks up S28 as well because noone is online/traffic levels are low.
