SFA is one of my fav bands!! Original and not mainstream (at least not in the states). I love how this starts as a candy-sweet melody and then unexpectedly turns badass at 3:30 in... This is why I love them.

seen them a few times now and no-one (except prince and possibly the flaming lips) comes close. one of the only truly 'brilliant' bands around at the moment. In 30 years they're be remembered as real visionaries, even if the general public now hasnt latched onto them.

They remind me of The Kinks. Not in a direct way, as in being influenced by, but more that they are the modern equivalent of The Kinks... a similar vibe, irreverent, wicked sense of humor and overall ambitious and genius pop songcraft abilities.
Plus it doesn't hurt that Gruff actually kind of looks a bit like Ray Davies at times!
