High speed rail Now please!
-
Thats called 125mph!
-
I agree, going by train us just as quick and less hassle, you got the wait at Glasgow, hour on the plane, then an hour on stansted express into London!! 4 and half hours relaxed on train leaving phone etc switched on, straight into London city centre. Can't beat it!!!
-
Yes, but with planes you have to wait for ages at the check-in etc. and with trains you turn up and go.
-
4:35 Glasgow central to London Euston? Impressive.
Although a flight from Glasgow prestwick to stansted only took 1 hour, with a nice view of the lake district, blackpool coast and manchester as we tonned by the english coast at 500mph

Too right spack, the dole rules, it's ace, munney for doing fuck all. I reckon we deserve a rise though soon, i'm having a bad run on the scratchers lately, If i buy more i'm bound to win, that's the advice of my fat mong brother anyway.
-
Who? Me? Can do, might have to go in disguise though, i think the bennyfit bizzies may be onto me....some fat nonce must have graaaaased me up. Forgot the bloody crutches when i got back from the airport the other day.

You OK to DJ at my bothday bash?

The dole is boss. Can't understand why more people don't go on it.
I'l be going in one of them next month. Did you get a free newspaper and headphones as advertised on their website? What do you get for the money week day? cheers

You get free food/snacks and free booze.... they come around after every stop so can get quite messy !! If travelling weekends or bank holidays then you get bugger all. I think you have to buy headphones so bring your own. Same for papers.

This was the 1510 from Glasgow Central on a Tuesday. BTW I was also on this train this weekend on Sunday evening and it was only a little busier. I have still never got the cheapest fare they offer though. Also, on a weekend you do not get complimentary food and drink (except coffee/tea!!).
