  • I suspect that trying those manoeuvres in an R22 (especially the forward bunt) may have you in a spot more bother than being within the HV curve.

  • hes alive!

  • Awesome but I would love to know if he considers how he would exit from those maneuvers and land in the event of an engine failure.

The sad thing is there are a lot of cool things you can do with helis (like in this video) but at least in the R22, you will be well within the HV diagram and risking your life.

Maybe 300 is different though maybe someone knows?

  • Certainly that was a hidraulic failure and he tried hard to control it. hahhaah

    Just kidding.

Incredible maneuvers! Thanks for the show.

  • @JordiHays

Schweizer 300/ Hughes 269/ Th-55 Osage. All the same type of heli shown.

  • flying that in a straight line while doing the petal turns was probably the most difficult thing out of that. I don't know though, I've never tried to fly a helicopter in a straight line while spinning. I know the wingovers are not difficult, but he's got more balls than me though.

  • Skill, practice, and no concern for life. Great show!

  • Schweizer 300, C.............I think.

  • What kind of Heli?

  • this guy is bad ass.
