For me this election is about only one thing. Accountability.

Believe it or not there are government leaders who've avoided being held accountable for defining the word "accountable".

From the Ontario Ombudsman's report:

""This is a downright embarrassing situation for Ontario. All is not well in the MUSH sector, yet Ontario is dead last of all provinces in providing independent oversight of these institutions. Millions of Ontarians are at the mercy of a special kind of Big Brother -- the hospitals, the long-term care facilities, the children's aid societies and the like are cleverly guised as "private entities" and deemed off-limits to proper checks and balances.

Big Brother has his hand firmly planted in our back pocket -- government revenues his lifeline; unaccountability his refuge. Ontario is, shamefully, a "have-not" province in this regard."

ALLOW THE ONTARIO OMBUDSMAN INTO THE MUSH SECTOR (Municipalities, Universities, Schools, Hospitals)

Fantastic ,,My support with hsi party and his philosophy,,but we do need the ombudsman Bill 88 along with the MPPs. As right now Ontario's Children are in a Crisis situation . We must act now 83 deaths in 2006 is not aceptable under the direct care of CAS when Ont had 3,977,005 living children CAS having only 25,000 undr their care making the ratio of child deaths 249 times higher.

I the question is not asked we will only guess at the ansdwer and his answer leaves little to guess at - he will not answer the question that was asked. The only real way to know your question is properly addressed is if the question is contained in the answer. It was not. But if you read his lips - no accountablity for Citys and lets get elected officals to police the very problems they created. Nudge, Nudge, wink, wink, say no more!
