Interesting 4 part campaign from DETR urging people to slow down once in a while. Every part is closer to the ACTION! Until the last part where... well... fill in the blanks yourself.

  • I remember seeing these ads on the TV, in sequence, one day at a time. They worked on my mind like no other. They were so well-conceived, by day four you felt you associated with both families. Obviously, you knew what was coming - but that didn't make it any less-shocking when it happened. I cried when I saw it on TV and it haunted me for ages afterwards. Brilliant marketing. Thanks for posting Wuzz. x

  • @RoonJazz I was quite young (13? 14?) when this one was on. I was scared and also fascinated by road safety ads and it seems to have continued into adulthood.

  • and shes lost a arm on the floor

  • It's her bag with all of her things in.

  • did her arm and leg come off because in the air her arm is off but on the floor shes lost her head and when was this made?

  • First shown in 1999 in the UK.
