I remember seeing these ads on the TV, in sequence, one day at a time. They worked on my mind like no other. They were so well-conceived, by day four you felt you associated with both families. Obviously, you knew what was coming - but that didn't make it any less-shocking when it happened. I cried when I saw it on TV and it haunted me for ages afterwards. Brilliant marketing. Thanks for posting Wuzz. x

@RoonJazz I was quite young (13? 14?) when this one was on. I was scared and also fascinated by road safety ads and it seems to have continued into adulthood.
