the best way to treat your turbo is to rev it 2sec after starting the engine. Thats for sure!

with hp numbers like that I take it you have B6? I have B5. I'm running apr 93, FMIC, custom headers/exhaust, S4 ignition coils, 2.0 aba bottom end (more torque). I swapped this motor into a 96 jetta so I'm running a 02a transmission from a vw golf, I just had it rebuilt. I'm pushing 15 psi stock turbo...never dyno'd but I think it has around 220hp and 250-260 TQ. Not the fastest car but fun.

You do realize you already have a diverter valve right? Run a Forge 004 hybrid valve if you want the woosh to be loud
