I've got a friend who's a dentist. He's a really good guy and I like him. I like my own dentists too... oh you mean do you like having dental work done. Fuck no! :)

Personally, my worst experience was having all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I don't wish that on anyone.

One good thing though, most of the pain is temporary. The next day it's all forgotten and you're all fixed up. :)

I take longer to recuperate because of my jaw issues. But once I've had the work done I'm ok. I'd rather go once and stay for two hours than go twice for one hour each time. Easier to forget if I have less frequent visits haha. That's insane though having all 4 wisdom teeth gone at once. 2 was bad enough for me. I can't imagine 4.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled all at once. (i wanted to just get it over with). But i was gassed and had the multiple needles. I must have looked like a retard after i was done...drool down my shirt and unable to speak clearly.

You have to be one sadistic nut to get paid to give pain. Dentist must have one bizarre sex life.

After I had mine, my face was so swollen. I had purple, green and yellow bruises that looked as though I'd had the shit kicked out of me. They also wrenched my jaw out of socket and it's never been properly aligned since. *cries* I can't imagine all 4 at once.

I've had my fair share of the dentist lately. Anyway...at tip for you. An hour or two before you go, do a half hour workout of some sort. It burns up the adreniline in your body and you'll go there more relaxed and you won't pace around so much before you go either. Works for me anyway!

Don't whinge about dentists - today it's pure pleasure (at least if it's about just fillings, I haven't got any bigger problems with my teeth yet). Go some decades before, when dental drill was rotating some times slower, the aesthetics were much weaker... to not mention the times, when alcohol was only aesthetic and the teeth were pulled off by blacksmiths ;P

We are lucky nowadays.
