I wish I was still around to take some more lessons from you. I kinda blow it last time. I remember I was late and didn't show up a couple of times. I had to many classes at the time and was on summer classes but had taken 28 credit hours my first simester. I had way to much to do and no sleep. I cept misssing our classes. Sorry for that. I still feel it was one of the stupidist things I did while at college. I looked up to you like Trinidads Tommy Emanuel and I blow the lesson from you!" Sorry!

thanks to send me this video, its a great guitar player and give inspiration!
This is terrific! Different sounding, maybe because of the playing style? (I know nothing about guitar except how much I love to listen to it :-)
Actually, I found this video b/c of the name - I do research on environment & religion & folklore. And music! So this is terrific!
I would love to know why you named it Chimayo - any association with the chapel, the soil, or just the place??
I need to go find more of your work, just for the pleasure of listening!

Thanks for listening.
Yes, this song represents my experience I had when I made a visit to Chimayo and the chapel. This is a powerful and holy place.
I also played background music for a video that was filmed about the pilgrimage.
Definitely a place worth stopping

How much does the amplifying change the sound? Is the tapping effect so clear partly because of the amplification or is it all about her amazing technique?

Thanks for the question and for checking out the video.
The amplification does'nt change the sound. it actually enhances it. It brings the tapping out to where you can hear it and I don't have to pound out the notes on the guitar. I use some reverb also on it but only in the slow parts of the song.
