Two great restorative poses, and some ideas what you can do with your blocks! . A variation of supported baddha konasana and a variation of vipariti karani.
I like doing them towards the end of class, but certainly the first pose, supported bound angle pose can also be done at the beginning of class. Even do them by themselves to give yourself a treat.
Please comment how you feel after doing these and what use you would use them for, or if you have other creative ideas of how you can use yoga blocks!
Thank you, Esther! The second pose was completely new to me and I thought it would be nice for my tight quads, but I'm more impressed with how it made my lower back feel. I have a bit of a sway back and this just released all the weight I'd been dumping into it all day. I couldn't do it with both my feet tucked back on my first try, but I'll work up to that.

@cj11tokyo I wonder what ancient book or ancient building foundation bricks the idea of restorative yoga and for those blocks were found upon :) I'll do the most important yoga, breath and wonder
while some stuff you show is super advanced Esther, I find its a good mix and I like the guidance you give the way you explain it I know right away if it's hard for me and how to be careful with it if I try. found this channel a while after wisdom teeth op when I had a headache and neck pain lots!

This is one of my favorite poses, but now I realize that I may not have been doing it correctly. Thanks for the information!

@TheLatitudes Of course this is yoga. I was wondering what you mean by this comment? This is restorative yoga, surely you know there are MANY types of yoga, restorative being very much a part of this?

I do enjoy watching your videos, but I also find them most often too difficult for me. Therefore, I would appreciate suggestions for moderated poses for every session.

thank you so much for these restorative poses! so much of yoga seems impossible for me cause of tightness in the hips and what you've been showing is gradually making a difference on me! I think it will be a while I'm comfortable with these but my hips are letting looser when I do quad stretches standing up I think that second pose will really bring progress I've been stuck on. big problem for me is shoulders too :( so these are great. since wisdom tooth op, my neck has been so hard to stretch.
